About Me

I have always had a strong commitment to walking alongside others as they navigate loss and trauma. There are no words to describe your thoughts and feelings with trauma and loss. Others may tell you that you are strong while you feel overwhelmed and lost. In therapy, you can scream, cry, and say whatever you need to say without feeling judged or that you are burdening others.

I consider it a privilege to be able to support you as you navigate the twists and turns of life.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology and my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. These degrees allowed me to pursue my passion to work with children, preteens, teens, families, and adults for over 20 years. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing services in the state of Texas.

My Approach

Therapy is about you and for you. Because I see each person as an individual with subtle nuances and needs, I always tailor my approach to you. Through collaboration and feedback with you, my goal is that you build on your strengths and find the healing you are seeking.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, Psychoeducation, and Strengths Based/Person Centered Therapies.
